SESSIONS

  • For years, I found myself caught in a cycle I couldn’t seem to escape. After each of my children were born, my depression and anxiety grew heavier. Every time, it felt worse than the last. I spent years trying different antidepressants, switching from one to another, and sitting through countless therapy sessions—hoping something would finally make a difference.

But nothing ever truly shifted. I felt stuck, exhausted, and desperate for something that actually helped me feel like myself again.

Everything changed when a friend introduced me to breathwork. I walked into my first session not knowing what to expect—and walked out feeling like I had just done months of emotional release and healing in a single hour. It was the first time in a long time I felt genuine relief, clarity, and hope.

From that moment forward, I knew this was something I wanted to explore deeply. I kept going, kept breathing, kept learning—and slowly, everything began to change. I began to feel grounded in myself again. I no longer take anti-depressants & I no longer see a therapist, because I believe we have the strongest tool of our own - Our breath!

I’m not perfect, and not every day is easy—but now I understand the power of my own breath. I know what it can do. I feel the benefits every single day. And that’s why I created Exhale & Co—to share this tool with the people around me who deserve to feel supported, held, and understood just as much as I did.

If my story tells you anything, let it be this: you don’t have to stay where you are. Your breath can take you further than you think.

  • Breathwork is a guided practice that uses intentional breathing techniques to help calm the mind, release stress, and support emotional and physical wellbeing. By changing the way you breathe, you can influence your nervous system, increase relaxation, and create space for deeper self-awareness and healing. Different styles of breathwork may focus on relaxation, emotional release, energy, or mindfulness — but all centre around using the breath as a powerful tool for support and transformation.

  • If you’re shy or prefer a more private environment, starting with a 1:1 session can help you feel more comfortable and supported. Many people find it easier to relax and fully lean into the experience when they’re in a personalised space. If you’re comfortable sharing the space with others, group sessions are also completely safe. No one can see or hear you except the facilitator, so you can still move through the practice privately within the group environment

  • No — sharing is completely optional. You’re never required to talk about your experience with the facilitator or anyone in a group. If you choose to share, you’re welcome to, but your session and everything you go through remains entirely your own private experience

  • No — you won’t stop breathing. Breathwork is a controlled practice, and your body will always continue to breathe naturally, even if the patterns feel different or more intense at times. You’re always in control and can return to your normal breathing rhythm whenever you need to. If anything feels uncomfortable, you can simply slow down, pause, or take a break. Your facilitator is always there to support you where needed.

  • Yes, feeling nervous or unsure before a breathwork session is completely normal. Breathwork can be a new and unfamiliar experience, and it’s natural for emotions to come up. You’re always in control of your pace, and the facilitator will guide you gently and safely throughout the session. Most people find that once they begin and settle into the practice, the fear eases and they feel more grounded and supported. You’re not alone in feeling this way.

  • It’s common to experience a range of physical sensations during breathwork. These are normal and usually temporary. Some people may notice:

    • Tingling in the hands, feet, or face

    • Warmth or coolness moving through the body

    • Lightness, heaviness, or a floating feeling

    • Muscle tension or softening

    • Gentle vibrations or energy shifts

    • Changes in emotional or physical intensity

    • A sense of spaciousness or deep relaxation

Everyone’s experience is different, and there’s no right or wrong way to feel. Sensations usually settle as your breathing returns to normal, and you’re always free to slow down or pause if anything feels too strong.
